Emergency Shelter

We provide Emergency shelter assistance, which is funding for a hotel stay. The hotel stay is a 1 night stay (but can be up to 2 nights depending upon the amount of funds available) at one of the local hotels partnered with DOZR. This services is only allowed to be utilized once per month, as funding is very limited. This is a very temporary option to alleviate the strain of homelessness, and promote security.

Life Skills Building

We provide this service to our residents and any mother at any age. This service is about assisting our mothers with achieving self sufficiency. Daughters of Zion Restoration provides many different skill buildings not limited to, job readiness training, financial literacy, employment assistance, childcare assistance, permanent housing assistance, community resource guidance along with many life skills. Daughters of Zion Restoration goal is to bring awareness identifying their career desire and knowledge and/or skillsets needed to fulfill it to promote self sufficiency. We will assist the residents in identifying their career interest, being led to the proper training or education for their career desires. It is our belief that when a person is aware and knowledgable of their career fit, it will promote their self sufficiency and success level.  With the assistance of a case manager the mother can achieve a realistic level of self sufficient.

Counseling

This service is provided to our residents and any mother at any age through our sister agency Daughters of Zion Restoration Therapy. Psychotherapy services are offered one on one from a licensed professional to assist in their emotional stability. We provide a safe haven where mothers can come to release and heal from the trauma and pain they've experienced. Our therapeutic services provides comprehensive therapeutic support utilizing therapeutic interventions and evidenced based models. We understand that we are all different, and trauma impacts us differently, therefore we utilize unique and tailored fit therapeutic support. We are aware of how homelessness and even motherhood can impact your mental health, and it's our goal to assist mothers in being healed to successfully parent their child(ren).

Below you will find a short list of some of the monetary assistance we provide. Although all may not be listed below, contact your case manager who can better assist you, and tell you what is available.

Faith Support Group


Participating in a faith based group provides you with an opportunity to be with people who are likely to have a common purpose and likely to understand one another. Benefits of participating in a support group may include: Feeling less lonely, isolated or judged. Reducing distress, depression, anxiety or fatigue.

Homeless Outreach


We understand the importance of meeting others where they are. As trained social workers and professionals, it's of importance to us to meet you where you are. We understand that not everyone is ready or even knows how to come out of homelessness. With our outreach team we meet you where you are with a word of hope and tangible essentials you may need. From words of hope to encourage and inspire, to tangible essentials to allow you to know you aren't alone and are loved!

Zions Closet


We offer free gently used clothes for mothers, expecting mothers and children who may be in a financial crisis or struggle preventing them from affording clothi.
